“Many years ago, I was drafted into the army and stationed in France. I have forgotten so much over the years, but one of the things that I remember are the misty cabaret clubs in Paris, where I loved to go for refuge. Tonight, Daphne took me back there, to all of those years ago, and I was eighteen again.”
